This not for profit Exhibition and Gallery has toured in the USA in 2012 and 2015 raising awareness and selling photos to generate the funds needed to build an AIDS Orphan Centre in Livingstone, Zambia. Window into Africa Fine Art Gallery is on permanent location since October 2013 in the Livingstone International Airport in Zambia. Anita Held Biography
Anita is a native to Wisconsin, USA and has been living in Africa since 2006.
She began her journeys in Africa in 2003 and has spent time in Botswana, Ghana, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. She has dedicated her time reaching out to the orphans and destitute peoples of this continent. Anita is a member of Safari Club International and the Houston Safari Club and has been awarded several photographic awards for her Culture, People and Locations shots. She has held Photographic Galleries and Seminars across the US in Churches and Universities raising awareness for the great need of the children in Africa. Her greatest wish is to use her photography as a donation and a way to raise awareness for those who have no voice in this dark, yet magnificent continent. Anita’s photography is her hope to… “Capture the heart of God inside the eyes of every child and feel His heartbeat in a glimpse of this beautiful creation.” |
